We are still embracing this month of January as it is our fresh start into the year 2020! As most of you know, last week we wrote about 2020 wedding resolutions and we hope it was a helpful post to keep your wedding planning less stressful and more enjoyable this year.

We believe 2020 will be full of surprises, old and new. Check out a few of our predictions for this year’s hot wedding trends and what you will want to embrace at your wedding this season. This will be a two part blog series. So check in next week for our 2020 bridal looks and attire trends that are hitting the scene in a big way!

COLORFUL FLORALS

The first trend we’re going to discuss is colorful florals. Of course the traditional bridal feeling tends to be a classic look. However,  we are feeling it’s time to move forward from the typical white, blush, and neutral wedding color stories. Now this doesn’t mean that the traditional wedding isn’t still beautiful and stylish in the right setting. It absolutely is still one of our favorite go to designs! But for a new decade and the year 2020, we think it’s time to switch things up with color in a big way. Colorful floral work can mean so many different styles and designs from vibrant greens, fiery reds, sunburnt oranges, shades of blue, pops of pink and so much more. There are so many possibilities to incorporating colorful flowers into your big day from bouquets, ceremony archways, centerpieces and escort displays. We truly think it’s time to start embracing the rainbow and get your color on with fun, creative and dimensional designs.

MIX & MATCH TABLE STYLES

The next trend that we love and have always been on board with is mixing up your reception table styles. For years, reception spaces are mostly set up with classic round tables that fit perfectly in a ballroom setting. But we are ready to change it up! We want our guest to have a new experience and see how we can make a wedding unlike the rest. Mix up your tables from round, oval, square, rectangle, floor seating and more. You can have a picnic style tables throughout your space or you can mix and match long and oval tables. This is a really fun way to not only change the dimension of the room and give a new vibe, but also enhance a your theme. Another aspect we love about featuring a mix of tables is that different table shapes call for unique arrangement styles. So this is a creative idea for couples who don’t want the traditional wedding look!

INSPIRED BY ART

The art culture is everywhere we look and we know it’s time to embrace the new scene. We believe a big hit this year is artistic inspiration for wedding decor. Of course this doesn’t just mean one artist or any one style of art, but that’s what we love about it even more! Art is all around us from the nature, paintings, sculptures, architecture, pop culture, graffiti and to mention a few. Art makes up the beauty that we see all around us in life, and we are always being inspired. When we say get creative and find an artistic inspiration for your weddings florals, we really mean find something that inspires you in the style of art or a specific medium, which has motivated to your vision. This is a really cool trend for the eclectic couples that want to make their reception unlike basic designs. Have fun researching artists, going to exhibits and finding other forms of inspiration that you can bring with you to help create your perfect day.

DECONSTRUCTED DESIGNS

We are excited to talk about this next trend that we quite honestly are obsessed with! Deconstructed designs are florals that have their own way of life and truly own their space. It’s fun because often these styles, shapes and arrangements are elements we have never seen in that way before, yet truly represent flowers in their natural habitat. The designs truly represent flowers in a natural way and look like they just grew there or they’re growing out of the floor. This is such a huge trend because it’s reinventing the floral industry from the typical rounds bouquets, tall centerpieces and classic rose decor. Of course there is a time and place for these classic designs which we love. But for the most part, the wedding industry is flowing into this deconstructed natural look and we absolutely love it for all different aspects of your wedding.

From bar arrangements, mantle pieces, walkways, grand staircases and band displays, why not put flowers everywhere you can! Create a lush garden inspired reception that is embraced by the worlds most natural beauty.
