Memorial day has come and gone and June is right around the corner, and that means beach wedding season is here to stay! We are so excited to show you a few of our favorite inspirations for a perfect beach wedding. Check out some special ideas for you ceremony, décor elements and a few of our favorite flowers that will make your sandy wedding day a gorgeous affair you will never forget.
One of the reasons beach weddings are so peaceful and beautiful is because there’s so many parts of nature that play into your stunning day. Having a beach wedding is not only a lot of fun, but paints a gorgeous picture. Exchanging your vows right on the waterline lends itself as a gorgeous backdrop for your ceremony. Creating a beautiful aisle as you walk towards your soon to be towards the ocean couldn’t be any more romantic. We also love beach ceremony archways as they create a picture perfect scene with the waves rolling in behind. There’s so many different ways to accent the beach and its natural beauty for your perfect day.
It can also be a lot of fun hosting your reception right on the beach at night! Accent the space using lanterns, string lights over the dance floor and a fire-pit in the guest lounges. A beach location is known for sunset ceremonies, but are really romantic and serene piece of heaven at night.
Another great element while having a beach wedding is the theme that comes with. Beach weddings can lend itself to different themes like a classic Hamptons wedding, a bohemian earthy wedding or a glamorous nautical affair. We love that you can pick and choose your different elements while accenting the environment around you. Accent your tables with sea glass, shells, lanterns and more for your own twist on your fabulous waterfront day.
Lastly, we love beach wedding because we LOVE beachy blooms! Accenting your wedding with the right blooms will totally take your wedding to the next level. One of our favorites of the summer season is pampas grass. Pampas grass is a beachy feather type bloom that flows beautifully in the breeze and looks like it naturally grew there, it is just the perfect fit! Light colored flowers like creams, blush and other neutrals look really beautiful in the area as well. Other ideas include bright bold pops of colors in a tropical beach location to compliment mother nature perfectly.
Beach weddings are one of our favorite parts about summer, so always remember to enjoy creating your perfect slice of heaven, and breathe in the salty air because it is the day you will never forget.
