When is comes to decorating for Christmas one of the first things we think of is of course Christmas garland! Christmas greens are such a staple when it comes to Christmas weddings as well. Featuring greens and flowers such as pine, mixed garland, poinsettia, pinecones, red blooms and more is the perfect way to start! Dress up your ceremony with a stunning floral arch filled with vibrant greens, pops of red and of course a candlelight ambiance. When it comes to your reception space, have fun decorating your tablescapes, grand staircases, bar-tops, sweetheart table and more! We say the most the merrier when it comes to these festive blooms. Lastly, don’t forget that you can also incorporate this style of florals into your personal flowers from your bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and more. We can’t get enough of this holiday décor and it will truly enhance the atmosphere of your big day and present a grand holiday feeling for all to enjoy!

The next aspect we love including while planning and designing a Christmas inspired wedding is of course festive holiday décor elements and accents. This can range from a magnitude of accents that can be included to dress up your memorable day. We love to start with a festive color scheme, there are many to choose from! (If you need some inspiration on color stories please check out our previous blog post!) Of course choosing holiday colors such as red and green you can never go wrong! We also love featuring vibrant accent colors such as gold, silver and anything with some sparkle aka glitter to give that light and airy holiday vibe! Once your colors have been decided, it’s time to plan where you will feature other holiday elements, whether it’s in your invitations, table décor, at your sweetheart’s table or in the lobby way, the options are endless. We are big fans of incorporating holiday elements into your decor for a cheerful aesthetic. Even though it may sound cheesy in writing, check out a few of our featured images below to see how you can sophisticatedly incorporate traditional Christmas fundamentals such as Santa, Christmas trees, reindeer, ornaments, garland and more! You decorate your house with fabulous Christmas décor that you have collected throughout the years, so we say why not incorporate that into your big day!

The next fun way to feature Christmas into your big day is through fun wedding traditions! Instead of blowing bubbles or throwing rice, why not hand out jingle bells for your guest to make some holiday music as you take your first walk as newlyweds! When it comes to deciding on your escort table arrangements, sometimes it’s hard to get creative, but we say play up your theme! From hanging ornaments to a magical Christmas tree full of name-tags, the options are endless! Another fun way to get creative is with your wedding favors. A simple ornament representing your big day as a keepsake or a hot coco kit is a sweet token of holiday cheer that your guests will love to bring home!

Lastly, when it comes to the holidays, we know one of our main focuses is of course the food! Christmas dinner is such an important aspect of planning your Christmas Day with family and friends, and even more important when planning your holiday wedding! Include Christmas staples like honey roasted ham, a beautiful turkey carving station and a stunning charcuterie board to get into the holiday spirit. During a Christmas wedding one of our favorite parts is of course desserts, welcome to the land of sweets! Include fun stations like a hot coco bar, cider station, festive Christmas wedding cake and like we said, get creative to make your very own land of sweets featuring cake, cookies, candy and more! This will have guests feeling like they are not only celebrating the most wonderful day of your life, but also the most wonderful time of the year!
