1. Non-Traditional Bridesmaids Dresses

This first trend is hitting the scene in a big way and we are excited to share it with you. As we all look back through our parents’ wedding albums, we often see the bridesmaid party wearing the same exact dress. We are saying it’s time to switch up your bridal party look! Many find that they are a bit tired of the traditional same gown appeal and since it is the year of the female, we are saying embrace everyone’s differences. Your girls are naturally different sizes, body types and have their own personal style, so why not embrace that. Now we aren’t saying that these gowns shouldn’t match or compliment each other at all because they definitely should. But having minor differences to make everyone just as happy is okay too. A few tips are to pick one designer you like and tell your ladies to pick any dress they want in a specific color. It’s almost guaranteed they will have a similar aesthetic. This is a great way to have a very similar look with little variation. Another way is to provide the color of your choice and let every person find what fits her best! Lastly, get real funky with it and have your girls rock a variety of colors, patterns and designs. Either way it will be a stunning scene!

2. Hats for All

The next trend we really love that is making a big statement this year already is wedding day hats! Bride hats, groom hats, guest’s hats and more. Hats have been worn to prestigious events from the dawn of time and we are excited that they’re making a comeback. What we love so much about this accessory is that it can play up many themes and styles depending on what you are looking for as a bride or groom. Maybe it’s a classic top hat, a cowboy hat, round hat, fedora, for example. Have fun and dress these hats up with wedding inspired accents like veils, feathers and flowers. The sky is the limit! We guarantee if you are an “everyday hat person”, you can absolutely feel like yourself when you walk down the aisle too.

3. Funky Groom Styles

The classic groom has definitely made a stand in the past few years by changing up its look from the classic black tuxedo to incorporating different color suits and accents. From navy, charcoal, electric blue, light grey, tan and more, the groom’s style been evolving over the past few wedding seasons. Yet, it is 2020 and time to bring you even more surprises and options to pick from as a soon to be groom. Patterned tuxedos, velvet jackets and bright color suits and embellished accents are the new rave. We have to say, we are swooning at the thought. These new looks are fun, funky and fresh while also portraying elements of a classic and elegant look. Depending on the colors and designs you desire, this idea can appeal to many wedding styles. Some may keep it simple with a patterned tux jacket and classic black pants. But for our grooms, going all out on a two-piece design – we are right behind you cheering you on!

4. Bridal Jumpsuits & Suits

For centuries it was said a bride is not a bride without her gown. But it’s a new century and we are ready to rock a jumpsuit/suit! Womens’ suits and jumpsuits are no longer just for the casual “city hall” wedding, but can be dressed up with the right fabric, embellishments and cuts to compliment any bride and wedding style. This is a very trendy and chic look for our sophisticated and modern bride. A jumpsuit can feature a full-length one-piece outfit, low back, lace embellishments, capes, blazer jackets and more. Get your couture look with this new trend that will be calling all of the other brides your way!

5. The Statement Veil

The statement veil is a big trend for 2020 as it originally showcased with a lot of celebrities weddings in 2019. A statement veil can mean a lot of different elements from the length, the fabric, size, style and more. A 30-foot veil can make a grand entrance while a vintage inspired birdcage is the talk of the town. Either way it’s a showstopper! We love that these statement veils are made to be one of a kind pieces. From embellishments, embroidery, silk flowers to words written write on the fabric, have fun with this piece as it will be a special bridal elements you will never forget.
