As the spring solstice approaches, we can’t help but be overly excited for warmer weather, budding blooms, sunny skies and of course spring weddings! We are reminiscing over our last year of working with wonderful couples, amazing venues and of course gorgeous flowers and are excited to show you one of our favorite weddings that we hope inspires you this spring!
Lindsay and Brandon said I do on a perfect sunset sky overlooking the Huntington Harbor during their outdoor rooftop ceremony. We loved designing and creating this wedding because we got to incorporate a variety of color palettes together and a unique gathering of flowers! A light and airy bohemian inspired wedding day is just what we had hoped for, and boy did we get it! Lindsay wanted a beautiful story to be told through her flowers, and we are proud to show you her story through our eyes!
Lindsay’s bouquet was one of our favorites of 2018! Not to say we don’t love every bridal bouquet we design, because believe me we do! But this bouquet felt unique, different and brought lots of character. Using lots of sage greenery, we filled in this heart shaped bouquet with some of our favorite novelty flowers including ranunculus, lisianthus, sweet pea, spray roses, garden roses, wax flowers and the forever show stopping café dahlia. She was a beauty, being held by the most beautiful bride in the room! Brandon wanted a pop of color as well, and his handsome gray suit was complimented with a yellow billyball boutonniere and greens.
The ceremony space came together with a crisp white aisle runner, chair florals and our favorite part, a stunning floral arch. Composed of an assortment of blooms, this ceremony centerpiece was colorful and tasteful. Pastel pinks, lavenders, white and lots of our favorite greenery brought this space to life!
As the ceremony wrapped up, guests were welcomed into the cocktail hour by a stunning escort card display! This was such a fun escort display for us to create because it was different than others we have designed before; it incorporated the guest favors. Each guest would search and find their seat number through a sea of rosette succulents, which sat underneath a colorful larkspur and delphinium high garden style centerpiece.
The reception was simple, romantic and colorful! Bright blooms, ghost wood centerpieces and gold accents brought this Harbor Club to life on this beautiful wedding night!
Lindsay and Brandon’s wedding is a dream of colors, romantic flowers and personal touches, and we hope you can find inspiration for your wedding day from this wonderful couples fabulous day!
