Fall is officially here! And we decided instead of dreading the soon to be winter, we are going to embrace the beauty that is the fall season and worry about the rest later! Fall means warm colors, rich ambiance, beautiful foliage, and of course the newest themes, styles and location options. Check out a few of our favorite locations that could become the wedding you have always imagined!

Firstly, in the fall we love to take advantage of natures beauty. So of course this means getting married outdoors. There are so many amazing options for a gorgeous outside ceremony and reception. Getting married in a park full of trees with changing leaves, on top of a mountain overlooking a grand landscape, or the middle of a lush forest is just a few of the many options. What we love so much about these options is that you let nature do most of the work. Of course you want to dress it up with the flowers of your choice, decor accents and lighting, but just remember nothing says fall more than getting married in the great outdoors.

Another option that we love this fall is a space that allows you to be indoors and outdoors. This type of venue permits you and your guest to be inside and outside while always admiring the view. We often find barn weddings are a beautiful space in autumn, along with mansions, pavilions, old-fashioned cottages and private reserves. You can have your stunning outdoor ceremony, and later retreat to a beautiful indoor space while still feeling like it is a perfect fall day. Having an indoor/outdoor space it such a great way to give your wedding vibe depth and dimension. Include lots of candle light, lots of greenery and of course lots of natural accents like leaves, pumpkins, gourds, hay and more.

Last but certainly not least, for a quaint fall wedding, we really love an intimate and cozy indoor setting. As much as the fall speaks to us in an outdoor language, it’s also safe to say that being inside with the smell of a fireplace, pumpkin pie and cider is a way to be. Getting married in a romantic library with a deep rich wood and a fire going is thought to be a perfect nighttime fall wedding. Cheering under a gorgeous chandelier covered in greenery and a room filled with candlelight overlooking the river can be the perfect option for some. Make it rustic, rich, warm and snug, and you have the perfect recipe for a less traditional autumn affair.
