The most traditional form of a wedding headdress is of course the classic veil. Veils have been worn since the beginning of time for weddings as a staple piece to your big day. Some say the veil was originally started as a Roman tradition while walking down the aisle. It hides the brides purity from jealousy and evils that may jinx your union, while other cultures and religions view it as a sign of modesty. Yet, as the traditions grew so did the popularity of the classic white veil as it became a staple wedding day look. We love that veils have now taken a turn into the new age and become a fashion icon for brides. Veils come in a variety of colors, textures, shapes, embellishments and more. From a traditional lace veil that flows to the ground or a vintage birdcage, to a stunning tool masterpiece, the options are endless!

The next wedding accessory that holds a special place in our heart is of course the flower crown. To us, flower crowns are special because we know how much happiness flowers can bring to a bride and how much meaning they portray. The cool thing about flower crowns is that depending on the flowers you choose to create your arrangement, these crowns can compliment a variety of wedding styles and themes. Flower crowns also have a traditional background as some religions use specific types of flower crowns in their ceremonies. For example a Greek flower crown, better know as the ‘Stefana’ is used to unite both the bride and groom during their ceremony. We love that this tradition of many cultures has grown to be a desired wedding element into so many wedding looks today. The colors and textures flowers offer create such a beautiful aesthetic and they can compliment a variety of wedding styles. From a bohemian peony crown, to a rust orange dried crown, to a rustic western feel, the options are endless. Your flower crown is an expression of you! So use lots of greens, colors and your favorite blooms to create a gorgeous masterpiece on your head.

Once Wed

Oh Best Day Ever

We know you will recognize this wedding element from years of history. The classic crown or tiara as we know, roots from royalty. Even though you may not be part of the royal family, that doesn’t meet you can’t feel like a princess on your big day! You will find that crowns are usually featured in classic, glamorous and couture style weddings. Crowns are big, sparkly and full of jewels that really make a grand statement when you walk down the aisle. If you’re looking to have a little bit of bling on your wedding day but don’t want to wear a full out crown, there’s always the more simple version, the tiara. A tiara is the perfect way to get a more subtle sparkle while still feeling regal without making a bold statement. Tiaras are stylish, delicate, and can be made of a variety of materials like crystals, pearls, beading and more.
